Fed Ex Ground is tripling its space at an Albany industrial center off Liberty Expressway.
The new distribution center will encompass 61,000 square feet of space on a nine-acre area in the Parkway Industrial Center adjacent to its current facility, officials said during a meeting of the Payroll Development Authority Monday morning.
The PDA voted to sell the land to a developer for $131,000 who then would, in turn, build the distribution center with the intent being to lease it to Fed Ex Ground.
PDA and Dougherty County Commission Chairman Jeff Sinyard said that Fed Ex
