You can’t catch any fish with just bliss
JOHN BRYANT
Here I go again. Being a senior citizen, I recall an old adage. If you feed a person some fish, you feed him or her for a day. If you teach these people to fish, you feed them for a lifetime.
The following is an unauthored squawk from a nearby city: “More bliss. I think I’ll become a left-wing Democrat. I can eliminate responsibilities and let the government provide. I can demand more taxpayer money and never express appreciation or contribute. Unfortunately, I’ll stay poor, but I’ll take freebies over freedom. I won’t have to think for myself. That’s why we elect people who know what’s best for us. Even more bliss.”
Sad, but oh so true.
P.S. — Carlton could make a song out of this …
