I have thoroughly enjoyed Phil Arnold’s account of his trip to Rio.He described the experience so clearly I could imagine being there. He is a very good writer. But also, his commonsense attitude towards sports is such a refreshing notion. It reminds me of days gone by when coaches were major influences in the moral fiber and attitudes of our young people. Attitude matters, sportsmanship is essential, keeping it all in prospective were hallmarks and a loss was probably the most teachable moment in a kid’s life. Thank you, Coach Arnold.
