Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, but the realization of how much you already have.

Renewed my driver’s license in less than 10 minutes. Passed the eye test without glasses and even got to deal with an extremely pleasant individual who appreciated a senior citizen’s attempts at humor. This office sure has changed for the better.

The last few days of rain have been nice. No storms. Only downside is now I have to cut my yard again.

Congratulations to Lea Henry as the new Dougherty County schools athletic director. Way to go!

I’d like to thank Superintendent Butch Mosely for his work and dedication. Enjoy your retirement!
