Thank you, Mr. Wallace, for your memories about Tom Petty. He was truly one of a kind.

All three of the local Walmart stores are fantastic. But if you haven’t gone to North Slappey Walmart, you’ve really missed it. Ton of wonderful people to help you. First there was Jasmine, then a couple of others whose names I didn’t get and now Shenna. She was wonderful to help me get the groceries she bagged into the scooter basket. She did everything she could to help me out, including picking up my cane when I dropped it.

Thank you, Doug Porter, for your beautiful article on the blessing of the animals. Welcome words for weary hearts.

While housebreaking a new puppy, I am outside late at night or real early in the morning. I want to thank the Lee County sheriff’s deputies patrolling our neighborhood. I see them often enough that it makes me feel safe during the hours of darkness. I also hope it makes these petty thieves feel like going elsewhere.
