The holidays coming up are a time for enjoyment at the same time our nation is going through difficult times.
I pray for our service overseas people, men and women. However, God says I am with you until the end, however that might be, and we here in America know no evil and see no evil going around in our daily lives in peace.
May all enjoy every minute, trying to make things better by helping those in their daily needs. I say, give and you’ll be blessed. Pray, pray and stay calm.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Over the years, Nadine Mathis, one of Albany’s senior citizens, had been a frequent contributor of letters to the editor, but had not submitted one this year. She asked to note that she has been recovering from colon cancer surgery that occurred in February “and here I am, ready to write. Thank God, and thanks to my many friends.”
