NADINE M. MATHIS: Life is not a rose garden
LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Faith can help you get through life’s pain
By Nadine M. Mathis
Some people who I know just have pain all over their body and really can’t understand. When you have a disease or something going on in your life, heed what the scriptures in the Bible tell you. It is not a rose garden you go through.
In life there is all kinds of hurts, aches and pains, and you learn to take it with ease, grace and the knowledge that our Heavenly father knows all about you, so give him a prayer now and then. It’s so much easier to have God on your side 24/7 and he does understand your needs.
So be it. Count blessings.
I am really blessed by my Heavenly father and I have a good feeling. “Heart” is right. I try to treat my fellow man or woman the right way. And I’d like to thank our Phoebe Putney memorial Hospital emergency staff for their way of showing people they do care for you. Thanks, Phoebe, a good job.
