Addy Wilson wins state title at L6 meet

Albany’s Addy Wilson struck gold at the L6 state gymnastics meet last weekend in Suwanee.

The gymnast, who trains at the Tift Gymnastics Academy in Tifton, captured four gold medals and was named state champion with a score of 37.825 out of 40. She placed first on the vault, bars, beam and all-around.

The L6 state meet had 396 gymnasts and a four-panel judging unit.
