Albany State baseball’s NCAA Division II South Regional opener against Tampa postponed

Heavy rain caused the postponement of Albany State baseball’s NCAA Division II South Regional opener Thursday against Tampa.
The regional, being played at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, was halted in the seventh inning of the opening game between Mississippi College and Delta State. That game is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. today,with Albany State-Tampa to follow.
Delta State leads Mississippi College 13-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning.
The remainder of today’s schedule was not determined as of late afternoon Thursday.
