Gabriel Arnold, competing as a member of Georgia’s National Freestyle and Greco-Roman team, concluded his season by taking third-place All-American honors in both Olympic styles.
He traveled with Team Georgia to Wisconsin Dells, Wis. on July 6th. The competition was held at the Woodside Wisconsin Dells Center Dome on July 7-8.
With the tournament success, Arnold has completed what few wrestlers have in becoming an All-American in all three styles — Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman — in the same calendar year.
Earlier this summer, he won his first national title in folkstyle, competing at Kids of Chaos Nationals in Missouri. Arnold is a member of Alpha Omega Wrestling of South Georgia in Albany, GA where he is coached by head coach/owner Phil Arnold and assistant, Calvin Williams.
