Annual Kiwanis Club Golf Tournament set for March 18

The Albany-Dougherty Kiwanis Club will host its annual golf tournament March 18 at Riverpointe Golf Club.

The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m., preceded by a lunch for players at 11:30 a.m.

First-third place prizes (handicapped) will be awarded, and first-place for lowest team score (not handicapped). There will also be awards for hole-in-one and close-ups on Par 3s.

The registration deadline is March 11. The registration fee is $150 for a two-person team or $75 per player. Fees can be paid by check or cash the day of the tournament or by check to Kiwanis of Dougherty County Foundation, P.O. Box 70183, Albany GA 31708. Payment is also available via Venmo to Albany Dougherty Kiwanis, @William-McDaniel-54. Hole sponsorships are also available for $200.

Proceeds from the tournament support education scholarships for high-school seniors in Dougherty, Lee, and Terrell counties.
