ASU Announces Upcoming Basketball Game Promotions

ALBANY, Ga. – Albany State University has announced its basketball special promotions for the remaining women’s and men’s basketball home games of the season, beginning Saturday, Jan. 26 when the Golden Rams return home for the first time in January.

The highlight of the semester will be “Rivalry Weekend presented by Park Inn” on Saturday, Feb. 16, when ASU hosts Fort Valley State University at 6 and 8 p.m. for Basketball Homecoming and Senior Day in the ASU East Campus HPER Gym. It is the only games played at East Campus this semester. During the Homecoming event, ASU will recognize all of its basketball championship teams. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for college students and $5 for youth. An Alumni Basketball Game will take place Friday, Feb. 15 in HPER Gym at 7 p.m., and an Alumni Student-Athlete Reception will take place Saturday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. in the East Campus Fine Arts Center. In addition to Basketball Homecoming, ASU will host special admission nights at ASU West Campus Arena for Military Appreciation (Jan. 26), Greek Night (Jan. 28), Faith & Family Day (Feb. 2), Youth & Community Day (Feb. 4), Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day (Feb. 18) and Girl Scout Night (Feb. 21).
