The Atlanta Braves, in an attempt to nail down their postseason pitching plans, are expected to activate veteran Reynaldo Lopez to start the second game of a three-game series against the visiting Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday night.
Before Tuesday’s series opener against Tampa Bay, the Braves announced that right-hander Bryce Elder will miss three to four weeks after having his right knee scoped in Dallas on Tuesday.
