ASU’s Aryn McGowan and Glory Seay Named to the 2019 Division II All HBCU Team

Two Albany State University softball players have been named to the 2019 Division II All HBCU Team by HBCU Softball.

Seniors Aryn McGowan of Hazelhurst and Glory Seay of Conyers picked up second team honors.

“They are well deserving of the honor. They pushed and worked hard all season long, and in result, their performances showed. They helped us with leading the team to a successful season. “said head coach Harley Roller.

McGowan, finished the season with a .299 batting average and scored a 19 runs this season. She added seven doubles, three triples, six homeruns and 16 RBIs. On the mound she finished the season 10-17 with a 4.92 ERA with 28 complete games. McGowan finished with 184 strikeouts.

Seay completed a stellar first-year at Albany State. She finished the season with a .319 batting average and scored 20 runs for the Golden Rams. She added 12 doubles, four homeruns and 25 RBIs.
