Atlanta Falcons announce 2019 preseason schedule

The Atlanta Falcons’ 2019 preseason schedule was announced Tuesday afternoon.
It includes home games against the New York Jets and the Washington Redskins, along with two road matchups against the Miami Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team will kick off the NFL’s 100th season against the Denver Broncos in the 2019 Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. in Canton, Ohio.
The Hall of Fame game will kick off an entire week of celebration for the nominees that will be enshrined into the Hall of Fame later that week. Former Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez is among those that will be honored at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremony.
Dates and times for the games against the Jets, Redskins and Dolphins will be announced at a later time. The Falcons conclude the preseason against the Jaguars at TIAA Bank Field on Aug. 29 — the time will be announced at a later date.
