Braves put Vizcaino on DL, call up Phillips

The Atlanta Braves put closer Arodys Vizcaino on the 10-day disabled list on Sunday as he continues to deal with right shoulder inflammation.
The move is retroactive to Thursday.
The Braves also called up right-hander Evan Phillips from Triple-A Gwinnett ahead of their home game against the Baltimore Orioles.
Phillips, who has yet to make his MLB debut, is 4-4 with six saves in 26 appearances with Gwinnett this season, striking out 50 over his 35 innings pitched.
Vizcaino has 15 saves and a 1.82 ERA in 30 appearances this season.
The Braves also designated infielder Phil Gosselin for assignment.
