Throughout the week leading up to Super Bowl LIII, more than 500,000 people – including 150,000 out-of-state visitors – flocked to downtown Atlanta to experience the game and surrounding events. While the New England Patriots prevailed as Super Bowl LIII champions, the city of Atlanta claimed some victories as the host city for another major sporting event.
