MCDONOUGH — Despite cutting Creekside Christian’s deficit to four points with two minutes left, the Sherwood Christian girls couldn’t get any closer as Creekside eliminated the Lady Eagles 38-28 in the quarterfinals of the Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association Division I-AA state tournament Friday night.
