ELLAVILLE — It came down to the last play, but Deerfield-Windsor was on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Schley County Thursday night.

The Wildcats scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh to win the game.

The game was tied at six with Schley County batting in the bottom of the seventh when Chris Barry’s RBI single propelled the Wildcats to a 7-6 victory.

The Knights collected nine hits in the high-scoring affair.

Clark Sullivan and John Logan drove in a pair of runs each, while Steven Williams led the Knights at the plate, going 2-for-4.
