TALLAHASSEE — The Deerfield-Windsor boys cross country team finished second Saturday at the Cougar XC Challenge in Tallahassee, Fla.
Paced by an eighth-place finish from Porter Hill and a ninth-place finish from Ethan Merritt, the Knights finished with 123 points, a point ahead of third-place Tallahassee Lincoln. Tallahassee Chiles claimed the boys team title.
The Deerfield-Windsor girls placed sixth, with Charlotte Augenstein finishing sixth individually.
