Four hits from Baylin Moore helped lead Deerfield-Windsor past Southland Academy 17-2 Tuesday afternoon in a GISA Region 3-AAA game that lasted just three innings.

Deerfield-Windsor improved to 10-4 on the season.

Moore singled in the first, doubled in the second, then added two doubles in the third.

Deerfield-Windsor scored six runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a groundout by Bryce Northrop and a home run.

The Knights collected 16 hits. Baylin Moore, Steven Williams, Corey Toole, John Logan, Howell Logan and Cole Mitchell each collected multiple hits for Knights.

Williams went 2-for-3 at the plate as he led the team with four runs batted in.
