A three-run fifth inning helped the Deerfield-Windsor softball team to a 5-4 victory over Terrell Academy Thursday afternoon.
Kenzie Copeland earned the victory on the mound for the Lady Knights, while Emily Montgomery earned the save.
Deerfield-Windsor’s Emma Schneider, Katelyn Moore, Landon Lowe and Sofie Davis finished with two hits apeiece. Schneider and Moore each finished with an RBI. Montgomery had a hit and finished with two RBIs.
Madison Lamb led Terrell Academy by going 2-for-4 at the plate with a pair of RBIs. Chelsea Whatley and Sarah Harvey each went 2-for-4. Whatley added an RBI.
