Deerfield-Windsor’s Jon Durham wins title at Bob Blastow Invitational

Deerfield-Windsor cross country runner Jon Durham won the individual title at Saturday’s Bob Blastow Invitational at the McIntosh Nature Preserve.

Durham’s winning time was 16 minutes, 2 seconds, which helped his team to a seventh-place finish in the Varsity 2 Division. Teammate Garrison Slaughter followed with a 13th-place finish in 17:27, and Jackson Belusko was the next finisher in 52nd (18:49).

Bailey Irvin was Deerfield-Windsor’s top girls finisher, taking 18th in 21:28. She was followed by teammates Sophie Singleton (29th, 22:15) and Jane Strickland (30th, 22:20).

The Knights were eighth in the girls team standings in the Varsity 2 Division.
