Georgia State’s D’Marcus Simonds confirms he’s entering NBA Draft, signing with an agent

Georgia State junior D’Marcus Simonds announced Monday night that he plans to sign with an agent and enter the NBA Draft.

Simonds, who began his high school career at Buford and finished at Gainesville, averaged 18.4 points, 5 rebounds and 3.7 assists as a junior. He helped Georgia State to two NCAA Tournament appearances and was the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year as a sophomore.

“Thank you Georgia State for everything y’all have done for me and I’m forever grateful!” Simonds posted in a Tweet. “But I have decided to sign an Agent and put my name in the hat for the NBA Draft. Forever a panther though!”
