The Atlanta Hawks will be without starting center Dewayne Dedmon for the final six games of the season as he begins treatment for lingering left ankle soreness.

The team announced he’ll undergo a non-surgical procedure this week, followed by a short rehabilitation period.

Dedmon, 29, averaged a career-high of 10.8 points in 64 games (52 starts) this season, to go along with 7.5 rebounds.

An undrafted free agent pickup by the Golden State Warriors in 2013, Dedmon spent time with the Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers during his rookie season before finally finishing the season with the Orlando Magic, where he stayed until 2016.

He then spent one season with the San Antonio Spurs before signing a two-year deal with the Hawks.

Dedmon, who earned $6.3 million this season, will be a free agent this summer.
