Hawks SG Bazemore (knee) will miss rest of season

Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Kent Bazemore will miss the remainder of the season with a bone bruise in his right knee, the team announced Monday.
Bazemore suffered the injury during Sunday’s loss against the Chicago Bulls. He landed awkwardly and hopped off the court and into the locker room.
The severity of the injury was detected in an MRI exam on Monday.
Bazemore, 28, is tied for the second on the Hawks with a 12.9 scoring average. He knocked down 108 3-pointers, one shy of his career best set in 2015-16.
Atlanta also announced that backup guard Jaylen Morris (left ankle) will miss two to four weeks. He also was hurt against the Bulls.
The Hawks hope to get point guard Dennis Schroder back for Tuesday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The team’s leading scorer (19.2) missed Sunday’s contest due to a left elbow injury.
