High School Football: Top Performers Week 14
Miller County’s JP Powell carried 13 times and picked up 263 yards rushing and five touchdowns Friday night to lead the Miller County Pirates past Wilkinson County 50-30 in the first round of the state football playoffs. The Pirates (8-3) will take on No. 3-ranked Brooks County Friday night in Quitman for round two.
