The Pelham girls basketball team defeated Seminole County 66-21 on Tuesday to remain undefeated on the season.

Takashi Jenkins led the way for the Hornets with 27 points, followed by Mahogany Randall with 16 and Sharnell Byrd with 13.

Alexia Jones was the leading scorer for Seminole County with 11.

The Pelham boys also won Tuesday, defeating Seminole County 59-51. Dewaun Jones was the high point man for the Hornets with 20 points.

Seminole County was led by Marquis Martin and Darrick Smalley, who each had 16 points.

Miller County girls edge Baker County

The Baker County girls dropped a close one to Miller County on Tuesday, falling 41-40.

Jasmine Gibson led the way for Baker County (0-2) with 12 points and 8 rebounds, followed by Tamia Fleming with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Zandasia McGee with 10 points and nine rebounds.

Baker County faces Mitchell County on Saturday.

Deerfield-Windsor takes two

Deerfield-Windsor’s boys defeated Citizens Christian 80-59. Ethan Merritt led the Knights with 18 points. Daniel Ramsey and Raj Patel each chipped in with 15 points and Ronald Bates added 10 points.

The Knights (4-0) jumped to a 21-4 first-quarter lead.

The Deerfield-Windsor girls basketball team defeated Citizens Christian 45-25 on Tuesday.

Emily Foy led the Knights with 15 points.

Thomasville boys top Monroe

Thomasville beat Monroe 70-60 on Tuesday in boys basketball action.

Kyler Hughes scored 22 points for the Tornadoes, with Alpharez Thomas adding 14 points.

Randolph-Clay boys post victory

The Randolph-Clay boys defeated Quitman County 67-52 on Tuesday.

Derrick Gorsuch led Randolph-Clay with 16 points. James Mock put in 14, Darreonte Gainer scored 12 and Marquavious Watson added 10.

Tuesday night scores

The Calhoun County boys defeated Stewart County 83-41.
