INDY 500: Wheldon’s widow prepares to honor late husband, defending Indy champ
In this May 30, 2011, photo, IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon of England poses with his wife, Susie, at left, holding newborn son, Oliver, and older son, Sebastian, right, next to the Borg-Warner Trophy during the traditional winner’s photo of the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis. Seven months after the accident that killed her husband, Wheldon will return this week to the Indianapolis 500 for ceremonies honoring the defending race winner. She arrived Thursday night and will spend the weekend, accompanied by her two sons, but she isn’t sure if she’ll attend Sunday’s race.
