Chase Herbstreit, a three-star quarterback and son of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, committed to Michigan over the weekend. The elder Herbstreit starred at rival Ohio State (1989-93). Chase Herbstreit is ranked as the 148th-best QB in the Class of 2025, according to 247Sports. He’s the second quarterback in Michigan’s 2025 class behind 5-star Bryce Underwood, whom Michigan lured away from LSU. Herbstreit sons Tye and Jake played as walk-ons at Clemson and Zak Herbstreit is a walk-on tight end at Ohio State. –Field Level Media
