Lee County moves up slightly in writers’ poll
After a bye week, Trojans move into sole possession of fourth in Class 6A
By Ron Seibel
Following a week off, Lee County moved up slightly in this week’s Georgia Sports Writers Association GHSA Class 6A football poll.
Lee County claimed sole possession of fourth place in Class 6A, moving 10 points ahead of fifth-place Harrison, which last week was tied with the Trojans.
The Trojans host third-place Coffee on Friday in a game that will determine the Region 1-6A championship. Tucker leads the Class 6A poll, followed by Mays.
Mitchell County picked up a vote in the Class 1A poll. The GHSA regular season concludes this week.
