The Lee County football team continues its hold on the top spot in the Georgia Sports Writers Association Class 6A poll, picking up 15 of a possible 17 first-place votes.

Lee County opened GHSA Region 1-6A play last Friday with a 34-0 win at Houston County.

The Trojans (7-0) are off this week, with fourth-ranked Northside-Warner Robins visiting Leesburg on Oct. 13.
