Lee County’s Weston Bryan leads 16 Trojans in All-Region honors; Dean Fabrizio is Coach of the Year

LEESBURG — Lee County quarterback Weston Bryan has been named the Region 2-AAAAA Player of the Year, leading a group of 16 Trojans who earned region accolades after the team’s impressive 13-1 season and trip to the state semifinals.

Region coaches also recognized several other standout Trojans. Running back Ousmane Kromah was named Offensive Player of the Year, Jayden Daniels earned Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year honors, and Jeramiah McCloud was selected as Defensive Lineman of the Year. Head Coach Dean Fabrizio was named Coach of the Year, capping a stellar season for Lee County.

Bryan, who signed to play for Georgia Southern University, delivered a record-breaking season with 2,412 passing yards, 1,523 rushing yards, and a school-record 63 total touchdowns.

Several Trojans were named to the All-Region First Team, including Dylan Richardson (OL), Shavez Dixon (OL), Jaden Upshaw (WR), Durrah Butler (TE), Alex Smith (FB), Martin Atkins (DL), Jacori White (DB), and Ryker Moye (K).

Second Team All-Region honorees included Brody Henry (OL), Canton Williams (RB), Greg Batson (LB), and Lasiah Jackson (DB).

Honorable mentions were awarded to Dom Vigil, Carter Lawrence, Jordan Houston, Damarion Scott, Deven Jackson, Traylon Felton, Brandon Whitlock, Jace Murray, Jayden Hudson, Brice Carter, Trey Bush, and Tray Clay.

The Trojans’ strong representation in region honors highlights their dominance throughout the season and the depth of talent on the roster.
