Leesburg’s Brinslee Strickland will compete in Valdosta on Saturday in the Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot Southeast District competition. Strickland recently won the state hoop shoot contest in Covington.
The 10-year old who attends Lee County Elementary School also plays softball.
