LSU-Florida State to open 2022, 2023 seasons

LSU and Florida State agreed to a two-year series and will open the 2022 season in New Orleans, followed by a matchup the next year in Orlando.
Independent college football reporter Brett McMurphy first reported the deal was in place Thursday.
Per the Orlando Sentinel, Florida State officials confirmed the matchup is set as part of the Camping World Kickoff Series.
Alabama and Louisville open the 2018 season in the series.
LSU opens the 2018 season on Sept. 2 against Miami (Fla.) in Arlington, Texas.
Florida State opens the 2018 season Sept. 3 at home against Virginia Tech after typically scheduling neutral-site openers. Last season, the Seminoles were paid $5 million as part of the Chick-fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta.
