NBA 2K League announces 2019 schedule; Hawks Talon to debut April 4

Knicks Gaming will begin their title defense on April 2 when the NBA 2K League opens the 2019 season with THE TIPOFF at Long Island City, N.Y.
The five-day event precedes a 16-game regular season. Knicks Gaming will open the event against NetsGC, who are making their NBA 2K League debut.
T-Wolves Gaming makes their debut on April 3 when they play Grizz Gaming. Hawks Talon GC makes their debut on April 4 against Pacers Gaming, and Lakers Gaming makes their debut the same night against Celtics Crossover Gaming.
All TIPOFF matches will be streamed live on the league’s Twitch channel.
The regular season will begin on April 10 and features 21 teams.
The eight-team playoffs will begin July 24. Early rounds will be a best-of-three series, while the NBA 2K League Finals will be a best-of-five. The Finals start on Aug. 3.
The NBA 2K League will award $1.2 million in prize money over the course of the 2019 season.
