BALTIMORE — Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash fractured his left ankle running near Camden Yards early Sunday morning.

However, he did not miss the series finale against the Baltimore Orioles. Rays pitching coach Jim Hickey could be asked to walk to mound if a pitching change is necessary.

“I was crossing the railroad track and I looked up and stepped into the track, I rolled it,” Cash said prior to the game.

Tampa Bay was looking for its first three-game sweep in Baltimore since 2013.
