Mike Isler scored 24 points and pulled down 14 rebounds Tuesday as Westover’s boys basketball team defeated Early County 81-72.

Kris Gardner also scored 24 points for the Patriots, with Cam Weston scoring 19 and Jordan Brown adding 10.

Westover’s girls improved to 9-0 with a 62-45 win over Early County.

Sherwood, Highland play two close ones

Sherwood Christian’s Stantravious Smith scored 46 points and had nine rebounds, but Jordan Coffee’s buzzer-beater carried Highland Christian’s boys to a 77-76 victory.

Jordan Roberts scored 10 points and had five points for Sherwood (5-3). Coffee had 29 points to pace Highland (8-0), with Xavier Rose adding 24 points.

Sherwood’s girls beat Highland 36-35. Ashanti Harrison led the Eagles with 12 points, while Highland’s Mallory Sutton also had 12 points.

Pelham splits with Thomasville

Mahogany Randall scored 17 points as Pelham’s girls topped Thomasville 48-40.

Takashi Jenkins added 12 for Pelham, while Zoey Jackson led Thomasville with 11 points.

The Thomasville boys beat Pelham 55-46. Reggie Perry scored 24 for Thomasville, with Vonterius Woolbright adding 10. Dewaun Jones paced Pelham with 10 points.

Calhoun County rolls

The Calhoun County boys defeated Quitman County 83-41.

Randolph-Clay tops Chattahoochee County

The Randolph-Clay boys beat Chattahoochee County 60-42. Xavier Jones paced Randolph-Clay with 13 points and eight rebounds.
