MACON — The Sherwood Christian boys defeated Praise Academy 72-52 Saturday night in the Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association Division I-AA quarterfinals at Central Georgia Tech.
The Eagles will meet Mount Bethel Academy in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Cavalier Arena on the Albany State West campus.
Bailey Benham led Sherwood in scoring with 24 points, while Sammy Smith scored 20. Stantravious Smith scored 17 as the Eagles went wild on offense.
Joshua Kendrick and Burch Langstaff contributed six points apiece.
