ALBANY — Sherwood Christian fell behind early in the first quarter of Friday’s game and was unable to make a comeback.

The Eagles fell to Griffin Christian 49-6 and dropped to 0-2 on the season.

Sherwood’s lone touchdown came in the second quarter when quarterback Blake Shepard found Will Alderman for a 13-yard touchdown.

Alderman also led the Eagles in rushing with 24 yards.

The Eagles will head to Macon next week to play Covenant Christian.
