Sherwood Middle School boys win region tournament
The Eagles won Saturday in their home gym, 35-23.

The Sherwood Christian Academy middle school basketball boys continued a year of dominance, capping off a stellar 12-1 season with a championship win in the Region 3-AA middle school basketball tournament on Thursday at Sherwood Christian Academy.
Much like the Eagles’ dominant football season in the fall, the basketball team was powered by standout performances from brothers Dylon and Dyson Harris, along with Bryson Gay, Lawson Brooks, and Chris Reid.
The roster also included Hudson Alvey, David Carrillo, CJ Grier, Brandon Hemmings, Kayden James, Ty Langley, and Dalton Merritt. The Eagles were guided by coaches Jay Merritt, Robert Brooks, and Josh Alvey.
