Monroe

at Worth County

Game time: 7:30 p.m., Friday.

Records: Monroe 2-5, 1-1 GHSA Region 1-3A; Worth County 0-8, 0-2.

Last week: Monroe off; Dougherty beat Worth County 26-13.

Series history: Worth County leads 15-10.

Last meeting: Worth County won 35-34 in 2016.

Notes: Monroe County can clinch the No. 2 playoff seed from Region 1-3A and a first-round home game with wins over Worth County and Cook … Worth County, meanwhile, will be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss to the Tornadoes.

Bulloch Academy

at Deerfield-Windsor

Game time: 7:30 p.m., Friday.

Records: Bulloch Academy 6-4, Deerfield-Windsor 6-4.

Last week: Bulloch Academy beat Pinewood Christian 45-42; Deerfield-Windsor beat Brookwood 34-13.

Series history: Deerfield-Windsor leads 5-0. First playoff meeting.

Last meeting: Deerfield-Windsor won 38-10 in 2013.

Notes: First round of the GISA Class 3A playoffs … Bulloch just beat a Pinewood Christian team that beat Deerfield-Windsor 22-14 on Sept. 15 in Bellville … The winner faces the Loganville Christian-Gatewood winner in the quarterfinals.

First Presbyterian Christian

at Terrell Academy

Game time: 7:30 p.m., Friday.

Records: FPCA 0-8, Terrell Academy 5-5.

Last week: Robert Toombs beat FPCA 43-0; Terrell Academy beat Westwood 17-6.

Series history: First meeting.

Notes: First round of the GISA Class 2A playoffs … Westwood, which Terrell Academy beat last week, opened its season with a 59-6 win over FPCA, which has scored just 26 points all season while giving up at least 38 in every game … The winner travels to Briarwood for the quarterfinals.

Westwood

at Memorial Day

Game time/site: 7:30 p.m., Friday/Calvary Day.

Records: Westwood 2-8, Memorial Day 4-3.

Last week: Terrell Academy beat Westwood 17-6; Memorial Day off.

Series history: Westwood leads 4-0. Westwood leads 2-0 in playoff meetings.

Last meeting: Westwood won 33-21 in the 2011 GISA Class 1A championship game.

Notes: First round of the GISA Class 2A playoffs … This is the first meeting between Westwood and Memorial Day since back-to-back championship game meetings in 2010 and 2011, in the smallest class what was then a three-classification association … the winner travels to Flint River for the quarterfinals.

Dougherty

at Crisp County

Game time: 7:30 p.m., Friday.

Records: Dougherty 2-7, 1-2 GHSA Region 1-3A; Crisp County 6-1, 2-0.

Last week: Dougherty beat Worth County 26-13; Crisp County beat Cook 31-7.

Series history: Dougherty leads 19-16.

Last meeting: Crisp County won 42-6 in 2016.

Notes: Dougherty needs either a win over seventh-ranked Crisp County or a Worth County loss to Monroe to wrap up a playoff spot … Crisp County, meanwhile, clinches the region title with either a win this week or next week against Worth County.

Mitchell County

at Baconton Charter

Game time/site: 7:30 p.m., Friday/Centennial Stadium.

Records: Mitchell County 7-1, 7-0 GHSA Region 1-1A; Baconton Charter 3-5, 2-5.

Last week: Mitchell County beat Calhoun County 42-0; Seminole County beat Baconton Charter 48-13.

Series history: Mitchell County leads 3-0.

Last meeting: Mitchell County won 42-0 in 2016.

Seminole County

at Pelham

Records: Seminole County 5-3, 5-2 GHSA Region 1-1A; Pelham 7-1, 7-0.

Last week: Seminole County beat Baconton Charter 48-13; Pelham beat Stewart County 67-6.

Series history: Seminole County leads 41-24-1.

Last meeting: Pelham won 28-21 in 2016.

Notes: Next week’s Pelham-Mitchell County game in Camilla will determine the Region 1-1A champion, regardless of what happens in the Mitchell County-Baconton Charter and Seminole County-Pelham games.
