Top Five: Monroe’s Acree records first triple-double to lead top performances in Albany again

The top five high school basketball performances of the week in Albany were:

1) Kie’Aundria Acree of Monroe recorded her first triple-double of her career in a game against Columbus. She scored 26 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and doled 10 assists in a 64-29 win over Columbus.

2) Jesstynie Scott of Sumter County scored 38 points in a 63-48 win over Worth County in Sylvester.

3) Kaleke Singletary-Jinks of ‘Dougherty scored 20 points and hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer Friday night in overtime to give Dougherty a 67-66 win over Carver in Columbus.

4) Joi Hubbard of Deerfield-Windsor scored 31 points in a 68-22 win over Valwood in Valdosta.

5) Justin Burns of Monroe scored 25 points Tuesday night in a 67-53 win over Carver of Columbus.
