GARRETT JONES
Position: Running back
School/Year: Deerfield-Windsor, Jr.
Why he’s here: Jones was on a roll in a 42-28 victory over Terrell Academy Friday night. He scored a pair of touchdowns and finished with 156 yards rushing on 17 carries.
JOE MINTER
Position: Running back/linebacker
School/Year: Terrell County, Sr.
Why he’s here: Minter rushed for 186 yards on 23 attempts and scored a pair of touchdowns in Terrell County’s victory over Pelham. His touchdown runs were 42 and 29 yards. He also had two 43-yard punts and a 67-yard kickoff return.
JOHNATHAN MOCK
Position: Running back/slotback
School/Year: Westover, So.
Why he’s here: Mock had a big night for the Westover offense in a victory over Albany High. The sophomore finished with 160 yards on 14 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns.
DAVEON SANDERS
Position: Running back
School/Year: Westover, So.
Why he’s here: Sanders posted another solid game to help the Patriots defeat Albany. The sophomore finished with 182 yards rushing on 17 carries and scored a touchdown.
