Dontavious Reese was sentenced in Dougherty County Superior Court to 25 years, with 15 years to serve in prison and the remaining 10 on probation, after accepting a plea agreement as his case was preparing to go before a jury.

Lowe, who joined Terrell County Schools as finance director in February and was promoted to chief financial officer for the new fiscal year, recently resigned to take a position with the Sumter County School District.
