Mauldin & Jenkins announces three promotions

FINANCE
Rob Douglas, Kyle Nichols and Jamie Cromer of Mauldin & Jenkins LLC have received promotions. Douglas and Nichols have advanced to supervisor and Cromer has been promoted to Staff II.
Nichols has been with Mauldin & Jenkins for four years. He specializes in tax planning and preparation for individuals and closely held partnerships and corporations. He also provides consulting and assurance services for clients. The Albany native has a bachelor of finance from Valdosta State University and a master of taxation from Georgia State University. Nichols is treasurer of Artesian City Sertoma Club and treasurer for Easter Seals of Southern Georgia board of directors. He is an alumnus of the Albany chamber’s Institute for Leadership Development and a member of The Albany Herald’s 2015 40 Under 40 in Southwest Georgia. He and his wife, Heather, have three children.
Douglas graduated with a masters in accounting from Georgia Southern University in 2011 and began his career at Mauldin & Jenkins the same year. He specializes in financial institutions practice. Douglas is a member of Artesian City Sertoma Club. He and his wife, Parker, are members of First United Methodist Church.
Cromer graduated with a bachelors in accounting from Georgia Southwestern State University in May 2014 and began his career at Mauldin & Jenkins in August 2014. He specializes in financial institutions and private industry audits. He also provides tax preparation for individuals and closely held partnerships and corporations. He is from Americus and lives there with his wife, Chealsea, and their daughter.
