ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 incidents on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 100 block of North Cleveland Street and on the 500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Obstruction of law enforcement on the 200 block of South Jackson Street;
— Theft by taking on the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue and on the 600 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Identity fraud on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;
— Criminal trespass on the 2500 block of South Washington Street and on the 1000 block of Jordan Street;
— Theft of lost/mislaid property on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Affray on the 200 block of Slater King Drive;
— Simple battery (family violence) on the 1700 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Shoplifting on the 2400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Fleeing/attempting to elude on the 1000 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Simple battery on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue;
— Red light violation on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 28 incidents on Thursday and into the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Auto accident at the intersection of Gillionville Road and Lockett Station Road and on the 800 block of Liberty Expressway;
— Infant locked in a vehicle on the 4000 block of Pate Street;
— Animal call on the 1800 block of Dorough Avenue and on the 1000 block of Philema Road;
— Lost tag on the 900 block of Cordele Road;
— Suspicious person at the intersection of Harris Road and Cordele Road;
— Theft by taking on the 1700 block of Beattie Road and on the 3700 block of Plumcrest Avenue;
— Suspicious auto on the 900 block of Barbragale Avenue;
— Assistance to a motorist on the 100 block of Philema Road;
— Loud music on the 3000 block of War Eagle Avenue;
— Hit and run at the intersection of Liberty Expressway and Antioch Road;
— 911 hang-up on the 3200 block of War Eagle Avenue;
— Tree blocking roadway on the 700 block of Newcomb Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five incidents from Thursday to early Friday, available reports show. The incidents included EMS assistance, a gas leak, shorted electrical equipment, an unauthorized burn and a cooking fire.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service report was unavailable on Friday.
