ALBANY — Albany Technical College’s Center for Business Solutions Continuing Education department wrapped up a three-day “Tech Camp” on Wednesday. The camp was geared toward elementary and middle schoolers ages 10 to 14 who are interested in science and technology fields.

On Monday, 12 camp students spent time in the Innovation Center for the Albany Tech robotics program. The camp shifted to computer programming, web design and photography on Tuesday, and ended Wednesday with 3D design and printing in Albany Tech’s Drafting Technology program.

During the robotics portion of the camp, students were able to create their own robot with Legos and competed against other campers.

For photography, students embarked upon a photo expedition on the Albany Tech campus. Their photos will be incorporated into a newsletter and presentation.

All instruction for the camp was provided by Albany Tech faculty and staff.
