ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Burglaries on the 1400 block of Dawson Road, the 1000 block of West First Avenue and the 900 block of Rood Street;

— Thefts by taking on the 900 block of West Broad Avenue and the 200 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 3800 block of Mayfair Lane and the 20 block of Dobbs Drive;

— Entering autos on the 3200 block of Fernridge Drive and the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Open container on the 2300 block of Palmyra Road and the 2300 block of Rosebrier Avenue;

— DUI on the 200 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 1700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Possession of a controlled substance on the 400 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Stalking on the 400 block of South Valencia Street;

— Discharging firearms on the property of another on the 1500 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 11 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Auto accidents on the 3100 block of Leary Road, the 6100 block of Newton Road and the intersection of Clark Avenue and Sylvester Highway;

— Suspicious auto on the 1600 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Assist motorist on the 4400 block of Acree Street;

— Unwanted guest on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway;

— Animal running at large on the 1400 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2300 block of the Liberty Expressway;

— Bite case on the 800 block of Shelton Drive;

— Bank escort on the 700 block of Philema Road;

— 911 hang-up on the 1700 block of Oakhaven Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 18 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Power lines down on the 3400 block of Belmont Avenue, the 800 block of North Harding Street, the 1300 block of West Whitney Avenue and the intersection of Lowell Lane and Lakeview Road;

— Gas leaks on the 400 block of Vick Street, the 600 block of West Society Avenue and the 1200 block of Sixth Avenue;

— Building fires on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way and the 1000 block of Fifth Avenue;

— Arching electrical short at the intersection of Spring Flats Road and Moultrie Highway;

— Medical assist on the 1700 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Authorized controlled burn at the intersection of Muse Street and West Society Avenue;

— Chemical hazard on the 1500 block of Palmyra Road;

— Unauthorized burning on the 1500 block of Maryland Drive;

— Heat from short circuit on the 2500 block of Ridgewood Lane;

— EMS call on the 2100 block of Colquitt Avenue;

— Carbon monoxide incident on the 1500 block of North Valencia Drive;

— Lock-in on the 2300 block of Sharon Avenue.
