ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 20 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Disorderly conduct on the 100 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1500 block of Palmyra Road, the 1100 block of South Madison Street and the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Battery on the 1300 block of East Society Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of West Third Avenue, the 300 block of Baldwin Drive, the 2800 block of Ledo Road and the 700 block of North Davis Street;
— Thefts by taking on the 800 block of Colquitt Circle, the 500 block of Dorsett Avenue, the 700 block of Colquitt Circle and the 1100 block of Whispering Pines Road;
— Burglaries on the 600 block of West Second Avenue and the 900 block of Crawford Drive;
— Marijuana possession on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue and the 1400 block of North Maple Street;
— Suicide attempt on the 1300 block of Ninth Avenue;
— Missing person on the 400 block of Odom Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Loud music on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 4400 block of Harris Road;
— Animal at large on the 3300 block of War Eagle Drive;
— Contact person on the 400 block of Poinciana Avenue;
— Burglar alarms on the 3300 block of Twin Flower Road and the 5400 block of Newton Road;
— Auto accident on the 5100 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Suspicious person on the 3300 block of Sylvester Highway.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 12 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Tornado recovery on the 300 block of Raintree Drive;
— Arcing electrical at the intersection of Turner Field Road and Clark Avenue and the 300 block of Virginia Avenue;
— Authorized controlled burn on the 100 block of Almond Drive;
— Sprinkler activation on the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Alarm system activation on the 1100 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— EMS assists on the 1700 block of Beattie Road and the 300 block of Flintside Drive;
— Building fire on the 200 block of Holly Drive;
— Passenger vehicle fires on the 5100 block of Old Dawson Road and the intersection of Wells Avenue and South Washington Street;
— Lock-in on the 3100 block of Graystone Lane.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 67 calls on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports indicate. Incidents included 11 respiratory calls, four chest pain calls, four seizure calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, four cardiac arrest calls, two altered mental state calls and 21 various medical calls. Trauma calls included 10 falls, five auto accidents, one laceration and one assault.
